The Vergelegen Reserve Merlot reflects the true terroir of the property and delivers opulent fruit with a perfect balance of tannins and acidity. Showcasing a beautiful plum-coloured heart with ruby edges, the Reserve Merlot delivers a wonderfully accessible palate, dripping with crushed berries and alluring spiced notes.

Throughout its history the estate has always focused on Riesling and adhered to strict quality-oriented practices in the vineyard and the cellar, where the wines are vinified as gently as possible. Wegeler, Geheimrat J, Riesling, Spätlese, Rheingau, dry, white, 0.75L

Up to 15 different "Erste Gewächs" premium vineyards supply the grapes for the Geheimrat "J" vintage cuvée. Following the concept of Bordeaux‘s first wines, Geheimrat "J" was first introduced in 1983. The internal quality standards still exceed those of the Rheingau "Erste Gewächse". Geheimrat "J" is produced only in good to excellent years. Poor vintages are skipped, as happened for example in 1984, 1987 and 1991. The final wine will be introduced 15 months after the harvest at the earliest.


Kloster Eberbach, Steinberg, Riesling, QbA, Rheingau, semi-sweet, white (screw cap), 0.75L

The 76-acre Steinberg Vineyard has been in the sole possession of the estate since the year 1239, and its founding by the Cistercian monks of the Eberbach Monastery dates back to the year 1170. In the 18th century the monks constructed a wall around their favourite vineyard in order to protect it from grape thieves and wild animals – a wall that reaches up to four metres high and is almost two miles long.

BLUE NUN Eiswein is the ultimate natural German ice wine in terms of quality and refinement. This Eiswein shows sweet, rich peach fruit with a fine apple palate and some lemon notes. A fine sweetness on the finish rewards with intense grapey fruit. It’s the perfect wine for festive occasions, when it can be enjoyed with desserts or as a deliciously smooth after-dinner drink.


Leitz, Riesling, QbA, Rheinhessen, dry, white (BIB) 3L

It has a very lively mouth feel with crisp, ripe fruit, wet stone, bright acidity and an dry finish. Very showy in the glass. It provides a very pleasant fruit and crisp acidity. Nuances of peach and apricot; apples and pears are very elegantly woven in with the residual sugar and also a slight hint of lychee is detectable at the end.
