The blend is usually a large majority of Merlot (85% and more) , the rest of Cabernet Franc. This wine is made in its own cellar, by the team of Château La Gaffelière, aged in oak barrels, with just as much care as the lots making up the 'Grand Vin'.

Tasting Notes

It is a very solid red with notes of plum, moist earth and tobacco. Medium-bodied to full-bodied and firm tannins and slightly chewed. Nice finish.
