Masi
With more than 250 years of history Masi is recognized as a leading producer of Amarone, one of the most worldwide renowned Italian wines. The company proposes high class wines from the Valpolicella and Venetian area, using native grapes and updated traditional production methods, such as Appassimento.
Exclusive Travel Editions
Masi developed key products especially for travel retail, such as the Masi Nectar Costasera Amarone Classico and the Masi Nectar Campofiorin. Both are special cuvée, characterised by the skilful use of local techniques and a greater use of Corvina. This grape variety is in fact considered the nectar of Valpolicella since provides the softness and cherry-tinged fruitiness typical of wines from the Verona region.
Exclusive Wines Made in Itlay
Masi Agricola has recently presented its exclusive wines for travel retail at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.
Among the products it has been highlighted the new vintage of Nectar Campofiorin, presented in a refreshed bottle design. The new look for this 2020 vintage will include an enlarged label with the addition of a background that enhances the oval section with the historic cornucopia. The red logo has been selected with a light golden outline.
The Supervenetian is produced through continuously modernised methods of winemaking – late harvest of grapes and an increase in the use of dried grapes to produce a fruity and balanced taste. Masi Export and Travel Retail Sales Director Piergiuseppe Torresani said: “Over the last 60 years, Campofiorin has created an authentic category, that of the Super Venetian and has become its undisputed leader; the flagship of Made in Italy.
“The wine is distributed in over 140 countries with a true omnichannel approach: restaurants, hotels, specialised wine shops, large-scale retail trade, online and travel retail. “Campofiorin is indisputably part of the category of the global icons that enjoy transversal distribution and are must-haves for those who offer them and those who buy them. Products that are at home everywhere for their eclecticism and iconic status.”
