An original Bacardi rum from Don Facundo, Bacardi Carta Oro delivers a light, yet rich golden rum designed for mixing. It is soft enough to savour by itself over ice, yet light enough to mix into richer flavoured cocktails. It is no surprise then that despite becoming famous the world over with Bacardi Superior Rum, the first recorded recipe for the Cuba Libre (Bacardi Rum, cola and fresh lime) was first mixed in 1900 with Bacardi Carta Oro.

Bacardi Carta Oro is a light, yet rich golden rum with soft butterscotch, caramel and vanilla flavours over a background of toasted oak. Soft enough to savour by itself over ice or in richer flavoured cocktails such as the original Cuba Libre.
