La Segreta takes its name from the woods that surround our vineyard at Ulmo. This young fresh wine produced mainly from Nero d’Avola grapes, gains personality and style with the addition of international variety grapes. La Segreta is a versatile companion for daily drinking, suitable for the most diverse occasions. It is a perfect approach to Sicilian wine with its excellent relationship between quality and price, guaranteed by the Planeta family’s careful input from the vine to the wine.

Tasting Notes
Colour: ruby red with clear purple tones
Nose: explosive aromas of cocoa, tobacco and fresh fruit. Mulberry, plum and slightly minty hints of balsam are apparent
Palate: well ripened tannins without astringency are the foundation with a fresh alcoholic structure and well balanced tannin content
