The Macallan has collaborated with Jerez-born artist, María Melero, to create the designs that can be enjoyed during the unique unboxing experience of A Night on Earth. María has used her fondest memories of New Year in her home city. Starting with a crimson sky over vineyards of sherry grape vines; progressing into María’s city home, represented by the azulejos (traditional Jerez wall tiles); and finally reaching gold-toned grapes to represent the sherry wine that will one day season the Macallan casks.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Burnt Orange. Nose: Honey-coated Pestiños, sweet raisins, cinnamon, anise, rich oak, and vibrant citrus. Palate: Sweet pastry, white grapes, honeyglazed almonds, vanilla, balanced spices and hints of fresh rosemary. Finish: sweet, vibrant and warming.
